Play Sessions

Our play sessions usually run during term time only - Spring term will run from w/c 8th January and break for half term on Friday 9th February.

Our much loved play sessions currently run on Wednesdays, Fridays & the 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month at Toy Library HQ - The Old School in Knaresborough, 10am - 11.30am.

Sessions will be open to all and will run in a very similar way to our pre-covid play sessions - toys and resources will be set up for children to access while grown-ups can enjoy playing along and socialising with others! You are very welcome to bring along your own snacks though (but please avoid nuts!)

Drinks will be available for grown ups but please bring your own reusable cup. Cups will not be provided so please don’t forget!!

Toilet and baby change facilities will be open - as always, please take nappies away with you to dispose of off site.

Sessions are £4 plus 50p per additional child - we can only accept card payments. For members of the Toy Library, entry to play sessions is £3.50 plus 50p per additional child.

There is parking in the St Mary’s Church car park which is available for our users to use however be aware that the car park is quite small!! Please ensure that you park with care to enable as many users as possible to park up. If you are not exchanging large toys, there is also alternative disc zone parking near the train station or a pay and display at Conyingham Hal - if you pay to park in an alternative car park, we will discount the price of a 2 hour parking ticket from your entry fee! The train station is nearby as are multiple bus stops serving Harrogate and Knaresborough. If you have any questions about accessing us, please just ask!
