Play Sessions

Are you looking for a playgroup in Knaresborough & Harrogate?

Our much loved Stay & Play sessions are a fantastic local activity for babies, toddlers and pre-school age children, and run on Wednesdays & Fridays at Toy Library HQ - The Old School, Knaresborough from 10am till 11.30am (term time only).

Sessions are open to all and we play and socialise in a relaxed and welcoming setting. There is no need to book, or be a library member, to attend.

Drinks and biscuits are available on a self serve basis (we always appreciate you washing up your cup!) and you are very welcome to bring along your own child-friendly snacks.

Toilet and baby change facilities will be open - please take nappies away with you to dispose of off site.

Sessions are £4 plus 50p per additional child - we can only accept card payments. For members of the Toy Library, entry to play sessions is £3.50 plus 50p per additional child.

There is parking in the St Mary’s Church car park which is available for our users to use however be aware that the car park is quite small!! Please ensure that you park with care to enable as many users as possible to park up. If you are not exchanging large toys, there is also alternative disc zone parking near the train station or a pay and display at Conyingham Hall. The train station is nearby as are multiple bus stops serving Harrogate and Knaresborough. If you have any questions about accessing us, please just ask!
